Things just got real, as Page Six is reporting that Future is taking Drake to court for 1.5 million for lost wages. This comes as a result after Drake demanded Future be removed from the upcoming 39-city “Would You Like A Tour?” event. This all stemming from a recent interview Future had with Billboard in which the rapper made some remarks on Drake’s Nothing Was The Same album and said the following:
“Drake made an album that is full of hits but it doesn’t grab you. They’re not possessive; they don’t make you feel the way I do. I want to make you want to fall in love.”
Drake apparently didn’t take those words lightly as following that statement, he was allegedly removed off the tour, causing his managers to contact Billboard arguing that he was misquoted. That statement from the article have since been removed. Meanwhile, Future was due to receive $40,000 per show, but got the boot over the weekend and is now suing for $1.5 million in lost wages.
