Banksy “Better Out Than In” Day 15 – ‘Flower Tower’

On the 15th day of Banksy‘s ongoing “Better Out Than In” street exhibition in New York, the artist takes a serious tone and pays homage to the September 11 terrorist attacks from 2001. Depicting the old downtown NYC skyline in silhouette, a slightly blackened orange flower peers out of a crack in the wall – carefully placed to simulate the explosion when the first plane hit the Twin Towers. ‘Flower Tower’ is situated on the lower side of a building in Tribeca.
